Although classes are resuming at Alphington numbers are restricted. I also appreciate that not everybody is ready to attend a live class yet. There is a lunchtime Zoom class on Thursdays 12.30pm to 1.30pm and a varied selection of full length classes on video to use for home practice.

Yoga calms and centres the nervous system, sharpens attention and concentration, and increases body awareness and relieves stress. A regular practice can improve conditions such as anxiety and insomnia.
Yoga is about learning to come back to yourself. It’s about expanding your boundaries, finding your limits and being able to truly relax and be yourself. It’s about taking time to remember who you are but have forgotten while being caught up in the whirlwind of a fast-paced life.

Jill has been teaching yoga in Alphington for 12 years. The style is a balance of flowing Hatha sequences, deeper restorative postures and relaxation. All levels are welcome including beginners as the postures can be adapted to suit varying abilities.
£8.00 per class if paid per half term or £10.00 drop in.

Regular full day (including lunch) and half day workshops are held throughout the year. These are a great way of devoting some precious time to yourself and your own yoga practice. A yoga workshop gives you freedom and time to receive fuller instruction and increase your knowledge.
